At Charm City Boxing & Youth Academy, we are more than just a boxing gym — we are a hub for personal growth, discipline, and community transformation. Founded and led by Max and David Sewell, our gym is built on decades of real boxing experience and a passion for empowering both youth and adults alike. Over the years, Charm City Boxing has trained and developed some of the region’s top talent, including Emanuel "Tranzformer" Taylor, who fought for a world title and shared the ring with some of the biggest names in boxing. Our gym has also helped produce and guide multiple Golden Gloves champions, state and regional competitors, and dedicated individuals who’ve used boxing as a tool to better their lives. From kids learning their first jab at age 6 to adults pushing their limits in the ring, we offer a space where everyone is treated like family — and pushed like a fighter.
